Description

Taken on July 4, 2008 with one of those cheap disposable cameras at Anime Expo in Los Angeles, California. I believe this photo contains (from left to right) the incomparable

(as the Shino in this picture, of course) along with her boyfriend (as Haseo, in this poncho form that apparently only appeared in a trailer for the .hack//G.U. games...) and one of her friends (as Atoli...her real name appears to be Ciera). I didn't realize I was taking a photo with her in it before I rechecked her page, but now I feel lucky to have taken a picture of a cosplayer I admired even before I saw her in person... I like the slightly antique look of this photograph (despite the fact that these characters supposedly exist in the year 2017). I didn't intend for it to have that look, but it looks really nice this way...I'd love to make a comment about how Haseo's love is as vast as the universe, but that would only ruin the mood of this picture...
